Recurrent bad breath, or halitosis, is
often caused by the presence of oral bacteria. If the mouth is not
cleaned well, bacteria grows on the tongue, gums and between the teeth
and this bacteria causes bad breath.
Bad breath can also be caused by the foods that we eat. There are
certain foods that have a reputation for causing bad breath, with
onions and garlic being on the top of that list. After consuming
garlic, for example, our digestive system breaks down the garlic into
molecules, and these molecules themselves have an unpleasant odor. As
the blood circulates, some of the molecules go into the lungs and when
we breathe, the unpleasant smell is released through our mouths.
Smoking is another common cause of bad breath. The unpleasant odors
associated with smoking come from the nicotine, tar, and other tobacco
substances that build up on a person's teeth and soft tissues. Smoking
also dries out the mouth, and having a dry mouth aggravates bad breath
because there is not enough saliva in the mouth that is needed to wash
away bacteria.
Gum disease is another cause of bad
breath. Gum disease is a bacterial infection in the gums surrounding
the teeth. Bacteria becomes embedded and trapped in these areas and
foul odors become apparent.
One of the most common bad-breath remedies is the use of mouthwash.
Mouthwashes are designed to flush bacteria from the mouth and leave the
mouth smelling fresh. Another remedy for bad breath is to visit a
dentist for a complete examination and a proper cleaning of the teeth.
Having your teeth cleaned will remove the excessive buildup of plaque
and bacteria that grows between the teeth and in the recesses of the
gums and will improve the quality of your breath.
If you smoke, by stopping the habit, your breath will be fresher and
you will produce more saliva, which is essential for good oral hygiene.

Living in a large city can be a very distracting lifestyle, it so easy to get caught up in it. Everything seems to happen at a rabbit’s pace and you can hardly keep track of anything.
I felt like I was drowning in it and it was not until I lost my job that I fully realized this. We all exert our best efforts to achieve things and perhaps make a name for ourselves. However we must not forget that giving ourselves time to unwind and relax is just as important.
Here are a couple of things that I believe would do just that.
First off, if you have a bath tub in your house I would suggest you take full advantage of it by taking a warm bath regularly.
At the end of the day, nothing can be as soothing and relaxing as a warm bath. I would advise taking it with your favorite tunes and just savor the moment. This can be your way of pampering yourself every now and then.
You can also read a book as a form of relaxation. Read up on your favorite novels and just enjoy some quite time for yourself. Perhaps you can also organize a gathering at the end of the month with your friends to discuss the books that you’ve read within the month.
Lastly, I personally found my daily runs to be a physically and emotionally fulfilling means of relaxation. I know this activity may not be on everyone’s list when we think about relaxation but nevertheless I can find no better words to explain the feeling that it gives me after a great run. It may just be the same for you. Running is also a great form of exercise to keep your self fit.
I personally prefer jumping right in to a soothing warm bath right after a good routine run that keeps me feeling great all day.
In addition to these activities, this writer additionally regularly blogs about hockey equipment bags and a neck heat wrap.
